Aspen Springs

This large, modern home full of slopes and angles was originally planned to be very sleek and contemporary. We softened the sharp lines with a beautiful selection of organic materials and textures so it would feel more at one with the magnificent forest and mountainside upon which it sits. When the accordian glass doors open, home and landscape merge as one indoor/outdoor living space.

the design:

This new home build was purchased in the framing stage, sight unseen. We changed the deign direction and completed the construction with the original builder and architect. The setting is on 5 spectacular acres of aspen on the mountainside, with access to hiking trails and breathtaking views.
