Moonlight Hideaway

the client:

We wanted to create a peaceful cocoon for the clients to find rest and relaxation when they visit, so we selected a soothing palette from the landscape surrounding the home… blues from the sky and soft grays from the mountains. By pure coincidence, the name of the street is Moonlight and we found a fabulous abstract painting by a Santa Fe artist that happened to be titled, “Lunar Excavation.” With its soft, unique custom lighting and cozy, layered textures, the ambience is one of calm and ease.

This home was purchased as a vacation getaway. The furnishings were very traditional and heavy, and felt stale and cliché. The homeowners engaged us to update the interiors with a fresh and modern aesthetic.
